We Win

I have been reading through a book by Joyce Meyer recently about overcoming the challenges in our lives through the power of worship.

*The Battle Belongs to The Lord: Overcoming Life’s Struggles Through Worship: Faith Words; Warner Books Ed edition (November 2, 2008)

This might seem ironic that we would praise God in the storm, yet this is exactly what Hezekiah did when faced with the challenges of the unknown.  Paul too, did this when imprisoned in the book of Acts and guess what, it is possible for us to do this too!

PRAISE BRINGS FREEDOM, DELIVERANCE AND RELEASE!!

Praise works and it keeps our minds focused on something other than ourselves and our circumstances.  The book of Thessalonians speaks of “being thankful at all times and to rejoice in everything.” (I Thess. 5:16-18) So as a true exhortation from God, IT CAN BE DONE!!

God works on our behalf ALL the time.  Let’s pray for “eyes that open and minds that ask”, so we become more aware of the realm of the miraculous and our place in it.

*(I highly recommend reading this awesome book as it gives practical suggestions to overcome the enemy in a way that confuses him.  He is not expecting our response to the challenges and pressures in our lives to be one of a thankful heart expressed in perfect worship.)

“Complain and remain. Praise and be raised.” –Joyce Meyer
